Volunteer to Change a Student's Life
|
Join us in this important work!
See a list of Learning Club sites and schedules. Tutors work with our children one-on-one, helping with homework or other academic material that we provide. No prior teaching experience is needed. The job of the tutor is not difficult but is very important and impactful. Tutors provide academic support and offer encouragement to students who truly need it. After completing the form to the right, the Learning Club will reach out to you about visiting a site and completing a short training so you have all the tools you need to have an impact. We have tutoring options after school at our six sites, each on different days of the week, and during the school day at local elementary schools. |
We love our volunteers! Thank you for your interest in making a difference in the lives of under-served children in Kansas City!

THANK YOU, VOLUNTEERS!
The success of the Learning Club is largely due to the involvement of many dedicated volunteers who work with and support our students in a variety of ways. Volunteers share their knowledge, their love for learning, and their interests with the youth, giving them the encouragement and support that they need to succeed in school and in life!
