Scholarships for Learning Club interns
LEARNING CLUB SCHOLARSHIP
The Learning Club has established a Learning Club Teaching Scholarship for USD 500 high school seniors who are pursuing careers in education.
The Learning Club Teaching Scholarship will be awarded annually in May to selected high school interns who are entering college. This four-year, merit- and need-based scholarship is intended to contribute to the tuition and educational expenses at the recipient’s chosen higher-education institution.
This scholarship will be dispersed to the recipient(s) after successfully completing the Learning Club Teaching Internship, enrolling in an institution of higher learning, and declaring education as the intended major area of study. The scholarship amount of $2,000 will be split between the fall and spring semesters, with a total disbursement of $1,000 per semester. The scholarship benefits will continue as long as the student is enrolled in a teacher preparation program (for up to four years, or five if pursuing a master’s degree) at any chosen institution of higher education.
