Healthy Snacks
We provide healthy snacks for our students at the beginning of each session. Modeling good eating habits is an important part of our program. Especially needed are:
Prizes
We also provide prizes for our students that serve as incentives. Students earn points for arriving on time, for their academic achievement, and for good behavior. Then they are able to “buy” items for themselves or their family members with their hard-earned points. Students who choose to save their points each week are rewarded with Interest points, teaching the value of delayed gratification. Many of our students receive no allowance at home. Our prize system empowers students to help provide for themselves. It also allows them to be generous and buy gifts for others!
